RAISE MONEY FOR THE PARISH! We have a great way to raise money for the parish using purchase cards from our local vendors. For every $100 spent, the church gets $6. So if you normally spend $100 a week at Stater Brothers, then all you have to do is to pick up a $100 purchase card for Stater Brothers after mass, then go spend what you normally spend at Stater Brothers, and benefit your parish! IT'S EASY! And it doesn't require additional out of pocket expenses! All you need to do is to get into the habit of purchasing your cards after mass!Come find out what other vendor's are participating. Look for Jane Smith after mass and purchase your cards. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

20 April 2007. Dear Parishioners: Another quarter has passed since our last financial report. As will be the continuing practice, you will receive a quarterly accounting of your parish funds. As a Parish Finance Council we are directed by Our Lord along with all of you to be good stewards of the financial gifts that are entrusted to this family. Msgr. Encinares, our Pastor, is committed to the mission of keeping us informed of the disbursements of these gifts. As our finances continue to improve, they are providing us with funding to initiate programs that will help us grow as Christ's family and develop new Youth programs which were not possilbe before. Your generous response to the Diocesan Development Fund campaign is allowing us to meet our goal. Looking at our present statement you can see that we continue to have a small deficit of $3,534.68 in our parish operational funds. We are making progress if ever so slowly. We thank you for your continued offerings and encourage you to consider a small increase in your weekly offering according to your means. By having a diligent attitude about how we spend our funds and having continued input from all of you after you review this quartery report, we can continue to make progress. It is our goal to have a surplus in the near future. Please take a few moments to review the report (published in parish bulletin) and provide us with feedback and questions. We, the Financial Council, are only a few parishioers trying to represent you, the Body of Christ, and the Blessed Sacrament Family. We cannot accompish this task without input from each of you. Make your concerns and desires known. Thank you once again for your generosity to our Blessed Sacrament Family whether it be in time, talent or treasure. May our Lord bless you with abundance and bring you peace everyday. Prayerfully submitted, Blessed Sacrament Parish Finance Council.
